Julia is a gentle and considered Speech Pathologist who brings fun, flexibility, and a personalised, child-centred approach to every session. Julia is a strong believer in meeting children where they’re at, and supporting them within their families to achieve their communication goals.

Julia has over 15 years experience, including rurally and overseas, working with children from birth to 18 years across a range of practise areas, including language, literacy, speech sound disorders, stuttering, and AAC.  Her special interests lie in early intervention, and speech sound disorders.

Alongside her clinical work, Julia has completed work as a clinical educator at Flinders University and UniSA supporting the next generation of speech pathology students across placements for their Bachelor and Masters degrees.

Julia is committed to regular, ongoing professional development to ensure up to date practise with her client’s best interests at heart, and also has experience and training in:

  • Hanen “It Takes Two to Talk” and other Hanen workshops on Bilingualism, and Social Communication
  • AAC Assessment and Intervention including LAMP WFL, Proloquo2Go, Proloquo, and Key Word Sign
