- Certified Practicing Member of Speech Pathology Australia
Amelia is a friendly, engaging speech pathologist who supports children and adolescents across a wide range of feeding and communication needs. She provides therapy in clinic, in homes, community settings, schools, and via telehealth, always tailoring her approach to fit the unique needs and goals of each child and family.
Amelia is passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals to better understand their own brain types and develop social communication skills in a way that is neuro-affirming. She focuses on helping clients navigate a predominantly neurotypical world while building the confidence and language to advocate for their needs. Amelia also works collaboratively alongside a psychologist to complete autism spectrum disorder (ASD) assessments, valuing a holistic and multidisciplinary approach.
As a child at heart, Amelia is known for being fun, relatable, and approachable, building strong rapport with children of all ages and tailoring sessions to each client’s interests and strengths. She has experience supporting speech, language, literacy, feeding, AAC, early intervention and social communication. Alongside her clinical work, Amelia has taken on leadership roles in supervising early-career therapists and speech pathology students as a university clinical educator.
