Alison Spurr is the owner and principal speech pathologist. With over two decades of experience, Alison leads a dedicated team supporting children and adults with communication and feeding challenges through a family-centred, evidence-based approach.
Alison’s extensive specialist training includes the SOS Approach to Feeding, Shape Coding, Hanen programs, and Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), alongside expertise in cleft palate, orofacial syndromes, and complex communication needs. Her commitment to ongoing professional development ensures clients benefit from the latest research and best practices.
In addition to her clinical work, Alison is an adjunct lecturer at Flinders University, where she contributes to the education and training of future speech pathologists. Alison also works at Nunkuwarrin Yunti to deliver speech pathology services to Aboriginal children and families.
Known for her compassionate care and clear, consistent communication, Alison partners closely with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver tailored support in homes, clinics, and community settings.
